Shogun Sushi and Sake Bar in Delmar

I am damn sure that I will visit them again.It made my wife and son's first sushi experience memorable.They loved the lobster sushi and the spring rolls.The host was very humble too.

Tons of options. Service was great. Owner took her time to explain verying kinds of sake. Food was great and plentiful. Pad Thai, tempura, chix teriyaki, sorbet all were wonderful.

Food was pretty good with a pleasant atmosphere. We enjoyed outside seating

What's not to love! The food is fantastic, the staff is extremely courteous, the location is very accessible and I've never been disappointed.

The suchi was just ok. There was a huge loud party in the parking lot but it was mildly entertaining. It wasn't that crowded and there were lots of servers but service was slow and they didn't seem cheerful. Servers must be cheerful or they should find cheerful servers. When I go out, I demand that minimally.

I was impressed by their hospitality. The restaurant was packed and they had a bunch of reservations. Like this they went out of up their way and set up two places at the bar for us to eat.

Our hands down very favorite sushi place in the area. Exquisite food, and the staff and even the owner herself provide personable service. Come the first couple times and she'll remember you from then on. And you'll want to keep coming back!

We ordered online though grubhub which was super easy and convenient, the estimated time of delivery was 40-50 minutes, the delivery came in 30 minutes. We are very happy with the quick service, the food is great quality, hot and delicious! Thank you!

Delicious Japanese food, and wonderful staff. Outside handicapped access is awkward, but manageable as long as distance isn't an issue. The ramp is on the far end of the building from the restaurant and the obvious accessible parking. There is parking and a curb cut by the ramp.

I love Shogun. Anyone who says it is not a great place to eat doesn't like Asian food. The sushi is fabulous, the pad thai is amazing, and there are so many offerings to suit so many different people. One of my sons is fairly picky, and he only eats the salmon. But he loves it. The place is very comfortable inside or outside on the patio, and sometimes has nice live music outside. You have little kids and you don't want to be at the restaurant you can certainly call in an order and pick it up, which I know many of my younger friends do. I can't say enough nice things about Shogun, and I hope that others will enjoy it as much as we do.

Food is always good.

Service was very quick and respectful. Soup and drinks were on our table within minutes. The maki platter was delicious and very reasonably priced. Very happy overall.

This is the finest restaurant I have been to in an age, and Anita, our server, was nothing less than flawless. Her demeanor was splendid, and worth the price of the meal itself - and the food?! The chefs at this fine place are grand. The Nabeyaki Udon was delicious, and I will certainly be coming back.

The best Pad Thai I've ever had! It's a little salty but so worth it. You just can't stop eating it! Great place for sushi. They do take out or you can dine in, either is great!

***MY NEW FAVORITE RESTAURANT IN DELMAR***First time there tonight, and let me just say it definitely exceeded my expectations! From the very sweet waitress down to the ambiance and cleanliness. I had the crab cream cheese spring roll as an app, and the lobster tempura sushi roll and both were EXCEPTIONALLY delicious and FRESH!!! I also had to take home the banana tempura for dessert and WOW, definitely homemade and fresh!! I'M ADDICTED. Already making plans to go back with friends!

Shogun is one of the best places around to get Sushi. I used to get the Pad Thai , which is to die for. However, I can no longer eat the noodles with my thyroid condition and lifestyle changes. I have switched to the Sashimi meals when we go here. They are even kind enough to have Coconut Aminos on site as a substitute for the Soy Sauce!! It is a great atmosphere with friendly staff. Perfect for a date night or even a family night! Give it a try. You will not be diappointed

Friends who were visiting from California found this place online. We live nearby but had not been here before. It really exceeded all expectations with delicious sushi, sashimi, miso soup, tempura and salads. Our friends are from the L.A. area and were very impressed by the freshness and quality. Our waitress was friendly and attentive to our table.

Pretty small restaurant turning out great food. Our waitress was the manager and she was very helpful and personable.

Great authentic Japanese dishes

I enjoy Shogun in Delmar. I usually have Pad Thai or sushi which never disappoints. I recently had a dinner special which was a lightly fried rice with pineapple, chicken, and shrimp which was outstanding. Service is always good, parking abundant, and the prices are fair for what you get.

Always a phenomenal meal with phenomenal service. The manager, Brandy is so welcoming and accommodating. Even when the restaurant is packed, she never loses her cool or appears overwhelmed. She treats you like family from the minute you walk in the door. This is my favorite lunch spot Everytime I'm in the area. Hands down the best Sushi in Delmar!

If you want sushi or sashimi this is the place to go. In the times of pandemic they have gone out of their way to make their customers and staff safe. Highly recommended!

Always good with a large selection of meals and sushi. Get the fried rice it is some of the best.
